Le geek, c'est chic, my friends!
At the Yoga Tune Up Teachers Summit last weekend in Ojai, CA, I totally geeked out. I arrived 15 minutes early (minimum) to each class, sat in the front row every time, filled entire books with notes, proposed to Jill Miller on camera, and made 80 new friends from across the globe. I laughed, I cried, I learned. From the best.
One of the best is Ariel Kiley. While we were there, she led a workshop about building positive communities. Rule #1 according to Ariel: Dial your inner dork to 11.

YTU therapy balls are magic
The trick is you gotta use them, and I never want you to feel like you don’t know how. Basically, when you “ball” it down, you can roll any body part, except your eyes (or your tail bone or your xiphoid process). Stick them where you’re tense or where it feels good. You can roll on the floor or against the wall. You could also remain still. After a few minutes, check back in with your body and see how you feel. My bet is on better.
